So with all those buffs plus one round of jester battle song my bounty hunter was nearly 50% crit, and with the bolster buff everyone was like 60% dodge with my man at arms ~75%. I didn't want him to lose dodge.Īlso brought max holy waters for buffs and max bandaids to get rid of bleeders. Man at arms had the ancestors cloak or whatever that's +15 dodge and a sun ring. Bounty hunter had the +25% melee dmg mask and ancestors pen. Jester had bright tamborine and focus ring. For items, vestal had jaina's head healing one, and one of the vestal scrolls. I actually used the +dodge +dmg crit ones off man at arms and bounty hunter used planned takedown. The trick is man at arms bolster and +dodge camp skills. I cleared out everything right up to the boss then camped. I'm glad I brought the jester though cus the cultist guys the ranged human ones on the way do a ton of stress damage so I needed it. Regular difficulty, it was the easiest boss fight I've had maybe in the game, much easier than the shambler you run into in normal dungeons. Then from some other people's discussions I was worried about the stress, thus I brought vestal 4, jester 3, bounty hunter 2, man at arms 1. I cheated and read about the boss's abilities on the wiki first. Had Eldritch-slaying Ring on the OCC so he could actually do some damage.I was very worried about my first foray into darkest but holy crap this fight was so easy. A stun amulet on MAA and Sun Ring on the HM (kept dog treats for the boss). Was using Camouflage cloaks on everyone so they could dodge some at least of the high-damage and other dangerous attacks. Since my party was adapted to the boss, I had more trouble getting through the warm-up enemies, but between the OCC and JES just about able to heal and stress heal and prevent any afflictions. I forgot to enable Retribution on the MAA and mark on the HM but was able to continually attack (except repositioning the OCC) so it didn't matter. This wasn't an ideal dodge-move type party, but I've just spent ages getting the level 6 MAA and I couldn't face getting a CRU from level 0 to 5 or 6.

Although the MAA doesn't have 2 move, he has Rampart from rank 4 and otherwise attacks normally. Someone else in the forum suggested using heroes with 2 move to be able to get back in position, and I eventually went with OCC>JES>HM>MAA. Being able to take turns before the enemy is such a massive advantage.
